Hi Bill,
I saw the link to your article on the SASH list-serve. It's a great piece of writing: clear, thorough, relevant and immensely useful -- for the addict (that part of me can never get enough good, supportive and validating info on the 12-step process) and as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) doing this work.
So many of my patients (probably 50-70%) express some sort of resistance, if not hardcore obstinacy, to engaging in or even exploring the 12-step process.
Your article will make it so much easier to address these common concerns.
